This group is in relation to a new venture by myself,Phil Dick and Derek Pearson Our first do is friday,23rd February at the Groove Pad Shipley The music you hear will certainly set your memories going,hopefully reminding you of why you love the scene and on hearing our plays making the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. We aim to play those fabulous forgotten,underplayed and rare records that have been the backbone to our wonderful scene. The djs have probably the best record collections in the country,and are passionate to share then with you,all on original vinyl,most definitely no bootlegs. We've all been on the scene 45+ years,dancing,record collecting from visiting venues throughout the country. Derek and Phil even venturing abroad in the hunt for that elusive record. Situated next to the Aargrah,opposite the Beehive. Brilliant event,great dance floor and sound system. Located near Shipley train station with good road links. Well stocked bar selling a great range of drinks. Record sales welcome in the foyer,contact for more details. Probably running 2 or 3 times a year.

Welcome to a new event,offering something really special to the Bradford/Shipley area. Based next to the famous Aargrah restaurant,opposite the Rare ale Beehive pub,our fabulous venue is a mecca to all genres of music lovers in the area. Only right we included and added our fabulous scene. Rare,underplayed,forgotten and classic music,all on original vinyl. Were looking forward to welcoming you to our first dayer of the year. The club is going from strength to strength,gaining a good honest reputation in the process. DJ'S Steve Ridealgh Kev Kellett Ade Rushworth 3 well established dj's, with each having 45+ years of visiting,dancing and record collecting along the way. Eccleshill mechanics institute dayer. As well as ensuring your well entertained we wanted to ensure you have enough energy to keep dancing,therefore we've decided to feed you 😉 Included with your entry fee £10 (payable on the door) Chinese chicken curry Cheese & onion pasta (v) Chilli Rice/Chips Bacon Sandwiches Sausage sarnies Veggie option tbc. And if more turn up we’ll do pie and mushy peas as well. Followed by a load of different cakes and various flapjacks. Any raffle donations greatly appreciated. To assist our great dj's, had to employ a skilful team of record inspectors, to ensure the vinyl, to be played at Eccleshill mechanics, 17th December dayer, is of the highest quality. Had to give them a bonus(chocolate flapjack)to ensure fully cleaned. 2 flapjacks to clean Derek Pearson 's 😉

Betty knew that she definitely needed a good dance,possibly a drink too. Eccleshill mechanics BD2 2EW,Xmas dayer, Sunday,17th December is her definite goal. She knows fabulous music guaranteed with a dance floor to complement. She can even have her tea there as food is included with the entry fee of £10,payable on the door. 100% of the door fee goes to the Bradford Cinderella charity for children,even though Betty doesn't like children this time of year. Wow,look at the list of dj's, bonus is they are all Bradford lads,exhibiting our fabulous music for free, for this worthy charity. The SOS/underground have forfeited their usual date to team up with the mechanics for a really extraordinary event. I guarantee your ears will be ecstatic with the music played. We're aiming to have a buffet,all inclusive with your entry fee(£10)to ensure your well fed as well as properly lubricated 😉 There will be a raffle with fabulous prizes,donations more than welcome. I'm aiming for ALL proceeds received to be donated to the Cinderella club charity,using all the profits from previous events to fund all the overheads. I'll ensure a receipt is available for sight to one and all. We hope it will be a really special event setting you all up for the Xmas period. We are aiming to make this event something special and memorable.
