Correct me if Im wrong (and you no doubt will)
But isn't shuffling where your feet stay in contact with the floor and stompin means theyre lifted off the floor?
Thats my take on the difference between the two
anyone?
Spot on mand,
Stompin used to make a place rattle!! The shuffle was for the more 'softer' sounds.

If you can 'shuffle' you dont need talc, and the condition of the floor is immaterial....a good workman never blames his tools, loads of us used to dance on the rough, and I mean rough, concrete floor of a barn at the Bletsoe Allnighter(Bedfordshire) in the ealy 70T's, talc was unheard of....Horace from Harborough will back me up on this....M8TY, Chiefy and myself will get down the 100 Club, eventuallythem Barn do's must have been good you wrote it thrice
we wont tell anyone about the straw that was used back then

''I just recently had a distributer interested in releasing the film but I have to take care of some of the legal paper work which I'm working on at the moment. The original 60's songs that I picked are Very expensive, I knew that from the start with the hope that somebody would pick up the costs, but we are talking at least $250,000 per song and I have at least 25 songs from the era. Obscure Northern songs or not, they are still very expensive''.
I wanna know whos ripping him off at those prices????

Dont knock talc at least you can see it!!, unlike silicon which some half brained twerp used not so long ago at a venue, twas like watching dancing on ice without the sequins.
Johnsons Mand is me preferred talc of choice, smoother granules

Pontins future unsure amid takeover talks
Mar 13 2008 by Kelly Fenna, Daily Post
THE future of a North Wales holiday camp was uncertain last night amidst talks of a takeover.
Pontins in Prestatyn Sands has this week temporarily closed its doors while talks about a national take-over bid take place.
Call centre staff said the closure at Prestatyn was due to an overload of events, but gave assurances the camp will re-open in time for Easter.
Last night it emerged the holiday chain is in negotiations with a "potential business purchaser" to sell it off as a going concern.
Bosses say business will continue as normal and the move will not affect staff or customers.
Set up by Sir Fred Pontin in 1946, the chain, with seven camps across the UK, has already passed through many hands.
"Prestatyn Sands is one of our more popular holiday camps," a spokesman said.
"If Pontins is sold, there will be no impact on staff or events."
Pontins would not reveal the name of the buyer interested in the firm but said sites will continue as normal.
A question mark still hangs over the deal and some customers said they have lost their confidence after another resort disappeared off the company website and brochure.
One couple, who have events booked at Prestatyn up to March 2009, said: "We have lost our faith in Pontins.
"Over the years we have seen customers being messed around - one event was moved from Brean to Southport and nobody was even notified.
"The way that the Devon camp just disappeared off the map makes me wonder if the same will happen to Prestatyn. I worry that those who have made bookings will be the ones who lose out."
Prestatyn councillor Michael German said: "Pontins in Prestatyn has been part of the area for decades - any plans to close it or change its use will be rigorously opposed.
"We cannot afford to lose any more tourist attractions in North Wales, I hope the takeover is not a get-rich scheme."
A Pontins spokesman said: "Pontins has been approached by a potential business purchaser and negotiations are taking place to sell the company as an ongoing concern.
"This will not affect current staffing or events."

So doors are closed now by the looks of things.
So I wonder if Southport is the next move for the weekender then???
