Bringing you a fantastic night of Northern Soul in our excellent venue “ The Civic “ we have been having regular soul nights in Connah’s Quay for the last 13 years and even with Covid we have managed to put on over 140 events guests this time round are Bob Taylor , Eric Fanning & Andy McCabe well Kronos on the scene along with talk of the coast resident DJs Mike Stoko , Dave Cawley & Shaun Smith six DJs that are sure to keep the floor very busy hope you can celebrate with us …..see you out on the floor

Welcoming back one of favourite guest Mr Ian Wills original Wigan Casino’s Mr Ms Dj well known throughout the scene for his amazing sets his knowledge and let’s not forget what a nice bloke he is with time for everyone in fact Soulknights are known for having the best of the best with resident DJs Mike Stoko , Dave Cawley & Shaun Smith with my Big Mike opening up its always a good Knight our new venue has a fantastic massive wooden dance floor with a well run bar at reasonable prices a very friendly crowd plenty of free parking on the nearby roads and streets we’ve been delivering quality soul nights for over twenty years and thirteen in Connah’s quay !! Now running bimonthly but at a bigger venue with 150+ in every time come and pay us a visit you won’t be sorry £7 cash on the door see you there

Please note we have A NEW VENUE with an excellent dance floor we are now in the Civic Centre Connah’s Quay which is an Iconic Northern Soul venue from the 70s and 80s we are proud to call this our new home loadsa free parking 200 yards away a good efficient bar and a big room with a massive wooden dance floor that’s made for us dancers !! Special guest this time around Ozz Osborne enough said !! So please come along and see us you won’t be disappointed .

The time has come to say goodbye to the Naval club after Eleven & a Half years we’ve decided that we need a change we have so many memories there would be great to see some old friends there for our last night ….see you out on the floor

Please support this event it’s a celebration of the life of our Soul Brother “Whiskey Mick “ who sadly passed away on the 28th October surrounded by his loved ones Mick was a fantastic character known by so many people in the soul scene he had time for everyone and always had a smile on his face and a nip of Whiskey in his hip flask ! He spent half his time in Wales with his long term partner Sharon and attended so many events in Wales including many at my Soulknights venue also Wrexham Soul club and the longest running soul club in Wales Broughton Wings so we have all come together to put this special night on for the Douglas MacMillan Hospice Ltd we will also be running a raffle on the night donations for the raffle greatly received thanks in advance DJs Mike “Stoko “Simpson , Rob Lloyd , Kev Jones , Shaun “Smithy “Smith , Daryl Jones , Ian “The Barron “ Gibbons , Dave Cawley & Myself venue Details on the flyer please support this tribute to Whiskey Mick
