This month at Junction 28 Soul we welcome Alex Simms Simpson as our guest DJ. Alex spins the tunes up in that there Yorkshire at the Scissett Mecca soul night. Guest DJ's from further afield tend to have different sounds that they play, giving us a chance to hear some different sounds. Supported by our Resident DJ's. another top night awaits.

Following our great come back after the summer break, the August night was a packer. September sees our guest DJ from Mansfield. Mick Cook has been around the modern soul scene since year one and is red hot on upfront releases. As always our resident team will be complimenting the night with our great mix of soul tunes from the 70s to the present. We start at 7, be prompt if you want to choose your spot. Vinyl Revival back again at The Spotted Cow at Holbrook Derbyshire. Dj's Clive & John playing all your Motown and Northern Soul favourites from the 1960's and 70's. All played on the old 45 rpm vinyl. The Spotted Cow is a great pub serving top food, great real ales and continental lagers to accompany the music and dancing.

Boston comes to Junction 28 Soul with a visit of our guest DJ Chris Rose from Boston Soul Sprit. It's 70's to modern all night, along with resident DJ's Stevo, Andy Barker, and Clive Henderson. Four DJ's bringing you the biggest variety of soul tunes you will hear at any soul night. It all starts at 7pm.

Here we go with our first summer bonus event. The resident DJ's are supported by our special warm up man Gordon Robison from Derby. Gordon is a retired club jock from a few years ago, he fancies coming out of retirement to play some of his fave sounds. We have a policy of supporting aspiring and returning DJ'S as our previous open deck nights have proved over the years. We expect numbers to dip slightly in the summer months due to holidays etc. But we guarantee you will have a great time with us at Junction 28 Soul.

Back in the swing of things in 2024. Where else can you hear such a great variety of soul tunes on a monthly basis? Andy is no stranger to Junction 28, having played before, he is a regular visitor to us and many progressive soul events, so he's bound to have something special up his sleeve. The Christmas helping of Junction 28 Soul is here. The Resident DJ's Christmas Soul Party. Our crack team of resident Dj's are primed and ready to bring down the end of '23 in style, the emphasis is on good times and great music.
