A big thanks to all that came along last night to make a great event at junction 28 soul. A few minor technical issues didn't dampen the overall quality of the music played by our DJ's. Well played by Paul Britton tall Pete Lisa and Lindsey and stevo. We do it all again on May 28th.

Here are the DJ/Collector times for our open box night at Junction 28 Soul. 730-Clive, as always 820-Paul Britton, first time on the decks for Paul. He has some top 45's, so come early and check him out. 855-'Tall Pete', Pete was on the floor at our last soul night and loved it so much, he's back. This time playing a few as well. 930-Double L, Lisa & Lindsey sharing the decks for a double dose of dancing tunes. Lisa, the new brains behind the Scissett Mecca, and Lindsey, the glamour behind Junction 28 Soul. 1030-Pete Stevo, 1130-Clive, J28 'anthems' This can be a big deal for our spinners to play their selections in front of a crowd and on a large P.A. system. Come along and show your support to the Junction 28 Soul fraternity. Thanks also to numerous other DJs and collectors offering to do a spot, There are only so many available slots in any one night, but another open box night will follow later in the year. Cheers. Following the resounding success of our open box night, we return before our summer break one more time. Residents night at Junction 28 Soul. DJ's Andy Barker Pete Stevo and Clive Henderson bring you Junction 28 Soul's greatest hits. A whole night of crossover, 70's and modern soul.

It's our open box night at Junction 28 Soul. A chance for collectors and budding DJ's to come along and play a few of their tunes in a 30-40 minute spot. DJ's to date are Neil Watson, Double L- Lisa and Lindsey, Tall Pete, plus more to follow. Plus our 3 resident DJ's also. Expect a few different sounds but still within our remit of crossover, 70's and modern soul. See you there.

Back on track with our monthly modern, crossover and 70's soul night. Junction 28 Soul has been consistently turning out top soul sounds for 6 years now. And we welcome friends old and new. This month sees the return of guest DJ, Dave 'The Kid' Curry, all the way from Newark and the Dirty Souls team. Along with Andy Barker, Pete Stevo, and your's truly, we have 4 DJ's bound to bring you some top stuff. Those who know, know. The rest are left to wonder.

Back with our 1st night of '22. DJ's Clive and Andy plus guest our good friend and DJ Neil Crossland from the Scissett Mecca in Yorkshire. Where else in this locale can you hear the best mixture of crossover, 70's and modern soul. Only here at Junction 28 Soul. We have soul music lovers coming from Staffs, Yorkshire, Northampton and Humberside. They must you something you don't. Our venue is a class room, with sound system to match. Large free car park, plenty of hotel accommodation nearby as we are right on the Derbys/Notts border at M1, J28. We would love to see you there. Cheers. Clive

A big thanks to all that came along to Junction 28 Soul last night for our Christmas get together and our last one for this year. The djs pulled out the stops to play some glorious tunes. Thanks to spiv and Andrew Barker for the tunes. We return in 2022 for more, conditions permitting. Our Christmas Party Bash. Party hats, streamers, balloons, party poppers, mince pies, tinsel, Christmas trees and baubles are all insignificant to the music, our usual top blend of crossover, 70's and modern soul. Absolutely no turkeys. Our DJ's will be emptying their sacks to bring you the cream of soulful sounds. Don't be left on the shelf like the naughty elf, we require your Christmas presents at this one. Snowman (or woman) should miss it. So come oh ye faithful. There is absolutely no claus to miss it, yule be sorry if you do. In fact, it would be ruld-olf you. Don't be elf-ish, bring your partner along. It don't matter if they've been naughty or nice. You just know it won't be a silent night. Resident DJ's Clive and Andy, along with guest DJ Cressy will be spinning em, along with a ho ho hope to see you there.

Following the resounding success of our open box night, we return with our next installment of Junction 28 Soul. This time sees the return of 'The Three Daves', along with residents Clive, Andy and new recruit Stevo. Expect our usual range of top soul tunes as always.
