JUNCTION 28 SOUL
Back for the first Junction 28 Soul night in 18 months, (restrictions permitting). We hope to pick up where we left off in Feb 2020. Mid-tempo, crossover, 70s and proper modern soul. Our musical remit spans from the mid 60s to the present, minus the Northern stompers. We leave that for the majority of other soul nights. If you've not been before we will be happy to welcome you along. Resident DJ's Clive Henderson (Jersey Soul Weekender/The Vinyl Revival/Soul Satisfaction) and Andy Barker (formerly ATB) plus guest DJ tba. Junction 28 Soul is a great night with top sound system, plenty of seating, lounge/T.V area, good priced drinks and with a capacity of around 100 people, you are sure to make new friends. We are only 1 mile from Junction 28 of the M1, on the Derbyshire/Notts border. Just 20 minutes from Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield. There are are also plenty of hotel stopovers available, Travel Lodge, The Boundary and Holiday Inn all close by. Check our web site for our history and details. http://junction28soul.simplesite.com/

Northern Soul Night at Nonnos
I'll be spinning the vinyl at this. The first of what we hope will be a regular event. Expect plenty of great Northern tunes from the 60s and 70s along with Motown and club classics. Something for everyone with a liking of soul music. This is a smart venue, any diners in from earlier can stay for the music. This is going to be an anything goes soulwise with any of your requests being played on the night. From 930pm through til 1am. £5 admission.

Back again with The Vinyl Revival at The Organ Grinder, Real Ale House, Arnold, Nottingham. Dj's John Craig (Hucknall Legion/Central Club) and Clive Henderson (Junction 28/Fitzsoul/Kingpower) playing those old 45's from back in the day, plenty of Motown, plus Ska, Mod, 6Ts, RnB, Northern, Stax/Atlantic and even a bit of Disco, something for all tastes. We even have our 'cheese off' as each DJ tries to out cheese the other. Plus it's free admission. From 8pm.
