  1. I'm looking for a VG+ (clean labels) of Frank Williams' Rocketeers - You Got To Be A Man on Deep City. PM me with price and details. Thanks for looking... Chris
  2. I'm looking for a NM copy of Freeway's Get the Feelin on Nebula Circle. I'm willing to pay up to $150. It does not need to come with the picture sleeve. Thank you for looking. Chris
  3. Copy is NM. Clean all the way around. $20 (USD) Thank you for looking. Chris
  4. Mace, I just want to say thanks! The record came today and it's in great shape. And man, you know how to package a record! I don't think that thing would break if a truck ran over it! Keep me in mind if you come across more Seven B or any other Eddie Bo findings for that matter. Thanks again, Chris
  5. Bumping this up in hopes someone is able to find a copy over the weekend. I'm willing to pay up to 80 for a Nm/M copy. Thank you for looking. Chris
  6. Thanks - I came across this site in the past. I never realized the site was maintained by David Griffiths. David was actually responsible for unearthing Bob and Gene (Mo Do Records), also from Buffalo, NY. He seems to have quite the knowledge when it comes to local NY soul recordings.
  7. Does anyone have any information on this record? I've only discovered it recently. It goes to show you I'm not a huge Northern Soul guy or even a Modern Soul for that matter but I'm from Buffalo, NY and I've been trying to learn more about our local records. I see it's produced by Key & Cleary, who are originally from Buffalo but the record shows Ohio (?). I'm also not very familiar with this particular label, "Buffalo's Reflection". Key and Cleary had some records on various Buffalo area labels (Amherst, Mark Custom). Their records don't seem to be incredibly popular and they don't command too much money but the songs and arrangements I find very interesting. "A Man" by Key and Cleary actually sounds like an early drum machine. I've searched the forums here and haven't come across too much, other than the fact it's super rare, super expensive and most definitely a modern soul favorite. If anyone has the scoop on this record and/or group or any other interesting findings, it would be much appreciated. Chris
  8. Interested in a clean copy of this. I would also be interested in other Eddie Bo titles, especially his funkier output (Seven B, Bo Sound) Thank you for looking. Chris
  9. Accepting best offers on ebay. https://r.ebay.com/PRo3GM
  10. Great record. No issues at all. Very clean all the way around. Honestly, looks unplayed. I'm asking $350 (US Dollars) and require buyer to pay priority international mail upgrade ($24.95) in order to ensure package is not lost in the mail. The record is also on eBay (https://r.ebay.com/PRo3GM). Price is more on eBay due to fees, however if it doesn't sell soon, I most likely will lower on eBay as well. PM me for trades as well, as I do have another copy. Chris
  11. Still looking in case anyone here is willing to part w/ a copy. Thanks, Chris
  12. Still have Funky Screw or Foxy Girls In Oakland?
  13. I'm looking for a NM/M copy of Key and Cleary's A Man/There Are Troubles 45 on Mark Custom. Please let me know. Thanks, Chris
  14. Also willing to trade for: Friday, Saturday and Sunday's "There Must Be Something" on Dig. Jewel "Paradise" on Jewel Productions Chris
  15. Still looking for this one... Haven't seen any of this one on eBay in awhile either. Thanks, Chris
  16. Are all promo copies of this record styrene and all regular issue copies vinyl? After doing a little research, this is what seems like but would like to know if someone here has the definitive scoop on these pressings. I'm obviously looking to purchase the non styrene and would like to be 100% sure.
  17. I have a Mint (unplayed) copy of Barbara St Clair's Teacherman on Crosseyed Bear. I'm a US buyer/collector and found a couple over the weekend. Might be my best find ever. I live in Buffalo, NY, so it's not too big of a surprise, as this record was cut in Clarence, NY. I'm willing to trade for something more funky. Below are a few 45s I would be willing to trade for. However, if you're interested in the 45, feel free to send records you'd be willing to trade. Ideally they'll be heavier funk/soul 45s and somewhere (give or take) between $300-$400 value. Below you'll see main wants but I'm open to suggestions. Anything NOLA related is also welcome. 1. Third Guitar - Baby Don't Cry (Rojac) 2. Trinikas - Remember Me (Pearce) 3. Ronnie Keaton & the Ocean-Liners — Going Down for the Last Time (Konduko) 4. Majestics - Key To Love (New World Records) 5. Thomas East - Slippin Around (True Soul) 6. Sugar Billy Garner - I Got Some (New Day) 7. Eddie Bo - We're Doing It (Thang) (Bo Sound) 8. Friday, Saturday & Sunday - There Must Be Something (Dig) Chris
  18. Thank you both! Both very interesting pieces of information. Cool to hear some of the lesser known stories about these popular, yet mostly unknown artists and tracks.
  19. I recently found a mint copy of Barbara St. Clair's Teacherman 45 and I must say, I like the flip (Jeckyll and Hyde) better. I'm also not a big modern soul/crossover fan but it's definitely a cool, nice feel good sounding track. Plus, I live close to the area in Buffalo, NY. It was recorded in Clarence, NY, about 15 minutes away. This label, from my knowledge was more famous for Spyro Gyra, another Buffalo, NY product (jazz-fusion). Anyone else with any other background on this track and/or artist? Not much on the web, other than the record commands a good chunk of change.
  20. I know this is a popular one among a wide variety of 45 collectors but anyone who's willing to part with a VG+ or better (clean labels), I will definitely be interested. Thanks so much! Chris
  21. Looking for a VG+ copy or better of Roger & The Gypsies "Pass The Hatchet" on Seven B. (I'm a US buyer. ) Thanks! Chris
