Saturday – 18th November 2023 Stafford Rangers Soul Night Come and join the team Mick, Mark, Dave, Rose & Jayne at the Rangers, always a friendly welcome. Guest DJ’s are the lovely Mick Perrins & John Abnett. Promises to be another excellent night of Soul Music. We have the bigger room at the Rangers for November, with a large wooden dance floor. Our New Years Eve tickets will also be on sale at just £7.50 each, get them while you can, there is limited numbers available

Steve Bratt is joining us to spin some of his great collection of northern soul – a real treat. We just love this venue for its friendliness and great selection of music. Hope to see you there. KTF

Our next Rangers soul night sees the return of guest DJ’s Simon Hunt and Neil Rushton. They played at the Rangers last year and it was a brilliant night. Another great night expected with 2 of the top soul DJ’s in the country.

What a special night the next rangers is going to be! It is Dave Evisons penultimate DJ appearance, the week before his last ever at Blackpool, and is his home town. I’m sure you will hear loads of Dave’s memories from his many years playing in soul clubs, and you may hear a plug or 2 for his up-and-coming book.

The next soul event at Stafford Rugby Club is on Sunday the 10th September 23. As always, the venue is great for all weathers – rain or shine it will be a fantastic afternoon.

Stafford Rugby Club, first of our 2023 inside & outside events. Last years summer soul sessions were brilliant. Great setting, with great staff and all the facilities. What ever the weather the Rugby Club is the place to be. July we have John Abnett guesting with his great collection of soul records. Reminder: there is no Stafford Rangers Soul Night in July due to us all having holiday & other commitments.

Guest DJ for May is the legendry Soul Sam. Sam has been there since the beginning – he’s played everywhere and been responsible for some of the biggest records on the soul scene. Sam is going to play 2 sets. · His all-time favorites – just can’t wait to hear this set. · His current plays Come and join the team for what promises to be an awesome night.

This months Regular Rugby Club did clash with the big TOTW reunion. We have therefore changed the times so they don't clash, we will be playing 2pm to 6pm. We have also reduced the price for this day £3 each or 2 for a fiver. If you arrive in Stafford early for the TOTW event and want to kill a few hours, come and join us for the warm up to the main event of the day. Stafford Rugby Club is located just past Stafford Sainsbury's. No more than a 15 min walk from TOTW and Stafford Railway station Coopers Park, The County Ground, Blackberry Lane, Stafford, ST16 2TT
