This one should be a cracking afternoon, joining myself Helen Crowther-Dowey on the decks are my special guests:- Simon Hunt - Needs absolutely no introduction, always plays a fantastic set and always an education to listen to his collection, wish I had a tenth of his knowledge, Simon has played everywhere from Detroit to Blackpool and a pleasure to welcome him back Neil Rushton - Again what a coup getting Neil to play for us in Derby, hailing from the West Mids Neil has played everywhere as well as being a record producer, author and music journalist, with clubs such as the Catacombs, The Golden Torch to name a few, he was involved in the early Blackpool Mecca and has worked with everyone, founder of Inferno Records, (anyone collecting I'm sure Neil will have some of his releases for sale at the event) Ray Finney - Promoter of Tip Top Soul for the Underplayed and rare soul and also promoter of Coalville Soul Club - Leicestershire, a pleasure to welcome Ray to the decks for the first time Always a great afternoon, lovely air conditioned club and great bar prices, free entry and plenty of nearby free parking See you there folks
