got into soul late 60's, Radio London / Kenny Everett etc at that time played a lot of american soul. Went to various venues in the north London, Luton areas. California ballroom (Devils den) being one of them. Started again in 1998, local do's Bedford, London plus Nottingham Sheffield Derby etc. Weekenders Cleethorpes, Prestatyn, Fleetwood .
