This was the 3rd Sunday Joint at the Jacaranda as this event is a new addition to a vibrant scene in Liverpool. The basement bar has a very 60s feel due to the authenticity of the venue, the ethos and the music policy. It is a relatively small venue which adds to the intimacy and friendliness of the event. The music is carefully selected from treasured vinyl collections of local DJs/collectors and the musical spectrum ranges from early R'n'B, Ska, Soul, early reggae and Mod. the FREE entrance is an added bonus and the event attracts a cool crowd of people who share the same love of this beautiful music. It is run bi-monthly to keep it fresh and to complement the other solid bi-monthly Liverpool Sunday dayer/night the Sink Soul Club. Future Sunday Joint sessions will have guest DJs. I think it's fair to say that the Sunday Joint is a welcome addition to the scene and it's varied music policy makes it attractive and a pleasure to the listeners. Here's to many more!!!!!
