The Kettlethorpe is now inder new management and looking to grow further events such as our northern soul/motown evening with local DJ Mesha serving up all your favourite tunes. We off error a warm, friendly welcome with very reasonably priced drinks aplenty. Please come and support us in our new venture and put this place on the map.

I'd just like to introduce myself as a new member. I'm John (Johnny to some) and along with my better half Janine (Jaz) we run a local pub in Wakefield called The Kettlethorpe which oddly enough is situated in Kettlethorpe Estate. We only took over the pub in February and are slowly introducing different events to hopefully attract a wider audience/clientele. As such we're hosting a northern soul/motown event on Saturday 7th June so if you fancy strutting your stuff with a warm and friendly welcome then please feel free to join us.
