A song a fellow soulsourcer often plays out, and guess what, Nina Miranda is his sister! She really loved the song when he played it to her. Her version is really really good, i was pleasantly surprised when i heard it. The whole CD is great jazzy stuff. Well worth a listen. I'm glad for her that she gets her music out like this, she truly deserves it. Just been blessed with a second child as well

Hi guys, on the subject of early David Ruffin. Just bought a copy of "Action speaks louder than words" on Check-mate on E-bay the other day, but the flip is "Hurry Mr Bus driver" ??? It's a white label, 1003. Have I been booted? Seller says it's original U.S pressing. Marc Forrest> Great set at 100 Club last weekend by the way! You also mentioned Action/Hurry earlier in this thread. Can you shed any light? Manship has it up with "You Can Get What I Got" on the flip but that's not a white label. I'm confused... There is definitely a great sax break just about a minute to the end. Sounds like it's the same version as on King. Indeed up-tempo. Kind of got me excited about the track again now. Need to go home and listen.

How does the two versions differ? Anything special you could listen for, a cymbal in a certain place? Could go home and listen. King seem to be the rarer one?

Got it on KING. Don't know which version it is (anybody?), but definitely works on the dancefloor when played loud. Not fantastic, but nice to throw in now and then.
