I wonder if Ace Records will release this as they've done with other releases from this series.  That would be great!

What a great double sider!

I love the backing arrangement!  The vocals I could do without.  

I still have mine, but I haven't used it in years, but I would never part with it.  I just found the remote for it in a box downstairs and two boxes of minidiscs.  I bought one of the early Sony ones that has an optical in and out about the same time I bought a Marantz pro CD recorder.  Both still work well!

I just picked up a M- copy of Wade In The Water, so this fits in nicely!

For some reason a certain era of American collector is obsessed with stereo mixes, even for stuff that was originally meant to be mono.

I only want to hear records in the manner recorded, i.e., stereo or mono. Something "processed" to be something it isn't is like drum machines and fake synths on soul music. (I like synths and drum machines, just not on soul music.)

Rescue Me and I Can't Rest are absolutely outstanding tracks. I remember getting the chills hearing both of these 45s!

By the way, does anyone need a new old stock copy of Home Wrecker/Now That I've Found A Good Thing? I've got (no kidding) a BOX full of them with the Ronn/Jewel/Paula sleeve.

I've got a promo copy of Ordinary Joe I've been debating back and forth about keeping. Clean labels, VGish record, plays with background noise on first half, but plays loud.

I have been friends with him and am also friends with Willie Henderson on Facebook, who just posted the news. He recently posted about buying his book and receiving a bonus CD of material he produced. Thank you for all of the great music you were involved with!

I had the chance to see him perform live at SoulTrip 2009 in Chicago. A class act all the way!

This R. Kelly song would have been so much better if they wouldn't have used a drum machine.

It sounds great, but I have a question. Why, oh, why do I hear drum machines? I don't understand how you can say you're using all-real instrumentation with drum machines?

Currently spinning the limited edition Howard Tate - The Complete Verve Sessions CD whilst on the computer. What a blinder of a release! Thank you so much for the music, Mr. Tate.

What a bummer. "Half A Man" is an absolutely brilliant track. Just played it out in September.

I had a chance to sample tracks from this release and was really impressed with the quality of the songs!

I'll Find You is one of my all-time favorite 45s in my collection. RIP nick.
