This 2013 book recently showed up in the comments on a recent article, titled 'Girl Groups: Fabulous Females Who Rocked the World' a follow-on visit found that the kindle version is currently available at £3.83, which could be of interest to those who regularly enjoy going beyond the vinyl
With over 600 pages and a fair few photos, at first glance it seems this book maybe a useful/cheap add to your back pocket library
