New Label Bigman Records Bull New Release News

It has always been a huge ambition to set up my own label and due to my involvement with Secret Stash Records my ambition has now been realised, I am proud to announce the formation of 'BIGMAN RECORDS', clue in the name there lol, the first release will be an incredible crossover double header by BULL AND THE MATADORS - A PART OF MY LIFE B/W MY BABE, they would have been a Toddlin' Town release at the time of recording which I put around 1970/71 as the labels were done by 1972, these are two awesome tracks which have been heard out and about played by Mark Houghton and Sean Hampsey (and for his help with putting the little promo together) at Diggin' Deep and various side room nationwide, the tracks were very well received when I played them in The Gillows Bar at The Blackpool International Soul Festival back in June.

I have just paid Secret Stash and the Leaner family for exclusive rights to release BMR 1001, the final mixes sound sublime and the record is now in production, it's a thrill to go solo on this but I am also still very much involved with 'Secret Stash' and have some very exciting new releases planned for the near future. Massive shout out to Miss Jenny Bayliss from Newbury for all her support on this project also thanks in advance to all the promo DJ's I send stuff to without their legwork and playing the records it would make this job so much harder. Also massive thanks to my good friend Mr Ian Gregory for his support and wonderful artwork and design of the labels/flyer/banner etc.

The sound clip/promo is not taken from the final mixes which are sublime taken form One-derful/Toddlin' Town master tapes but will give you a snippet of the quality of these tracks, I already have another release for submission to follow this so all being well 'BIGMAN RECORDS' will catch the imagination of soul fans worldwide.
