Marvin Gaye Film News - starts filming in April

News that one of the two planned Marvin Gaye films is starting filming very shortly

Sexual Healing

Apparently 'Sexual Healing' will chronicle his self-imposed exile in Belgium and his return to the big time with the help of promoter Freddy Cousaert

Law and Order's Jesse L. Martin has been cast as Gaye in the film, and will be joined by Sopranos' star James Gandolfini who will play the part of Belgian promoter Freddy Cousaert.

The film is a $15 million production and will be directed by Lauren Goodman and produced by Gandolfini's production company Attaboy Films.

Its been said that the script is loosely based on Steve Turner's book "Trouble Man."

Filming of the upcoming fim 'Sexual Healing' is reported to start on 15 April 2008, with locations in Ostend, Massachusetts, and Los Angeles.
