A “heads up” to all Soul Source readers for a “must do” event !
Well they say “time & tide waits for no man”, well as incredible as it may seem, Premium record dealer, Wigan Casino & Stafford DJ, Promoter, Boxer and genial Yorkshireman, Pat Brady, reaches his land mark 60th Birthday in May this year.
In order to celebrate, Pat has secured The Wardrobe in Leeds City Centre (Next to BBC Radio Leeds HQ ) and is running a two floored, all day event at this popular venue. Along with Paul Atkinson and the Selby Soul crew, Pat has been involved with the launch of Soul at Wardrobe and attendances have been steadily rising as word spreads of this great atmospheric venue. The recent March event attracted over 300 Souls as the events reputation for quality soul music spreads.
The venue has undergone extensive renovations in recent years and with the new addition of a £50,000 state of the art sound system on the lower basement level it is really the icing on the cake !

Pat is running the event with all proceeds going to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, the East Coast Soul Collective's chosen charity at The Bridlington Spa Weekender in June and will help towards this years target of a further £5,000 on the rolling total.
With a fantastic DJ line, all giving their services free of charge, this will be a landmark event and one not to be missed. With the Northern floor downstairs featuring a mixed bag of Northern Classic, current dance floor favourites, premium rarities and a smattering of 70s Sounds.
