There will be the usual 3 rooms available for those seeking soul self satisfaction: MAIN HALL: Northern Monsters&Forgotten Oldies; 6T's Newies and Crossover/Modern Anthems with 'The Usual Suspects'; Hammie, Fingers and TheBigO joined by regular and all round Soulful Guru Soul Sam, Mark Bicknell and Dave Flynn. THE MOJO ROOM: Located back in the original backdoor room for tonight only (as the SG6 Room is being used as a main bar for the night) and spinning a balanced mix of R&B, Boogaloo and Rhythm 'n' Soul. Ab, Leon Hewitt, The O'Hara's and TheBigO are joined by Mark Bicknell spinning his style of R&B belters. Check out why the slogan for the Mojo is 'The Little Room with the BIG Sound!' THE GHETTO: Modern&Crossover Soul with Soul Sam, Taffy and Nathan. Proving to be hugely popular and always jam-packed (even dancing on the tables and outside on the stairs at stages!!!) the Ghetto is fast building a reputation as one of THE Modern rooms in the South. Easy to understand why they have adopted the slogan 'It's A Family Affair!' as their anthem. Awesome - and then some! ( They even have their own official Ghetto Mascot - the hugely entertaining and all round nice guy - Tony Wildman.) In addition North Herts 6T's Mafia have decided to offer those attending a FREE woven anniversary patch to everyone through the doors (top quality and like the patches of old), FREE entry into the prize raffle with prizes donated by Beatin Rhythm Records, Kent Records, Keith Hammond Enterprises and Turntable Records as well as goodies the Mafia have brought in. The list includes latest CD's/45's, DVD's, Baseball Caps and the usual eyebrow raiser!?! There will also be a dance competition held during the evening with a first prize of £50, 2nd of £25 and 3rd of £15. However be warned that this is the 6T's Mafia we are talking about here and they are renowned for their warped sense of humour and ability to catch people out! (Should prove to be a goodie.) The night starts at 8pm-2am and entry for this event is £8 advance ticket (strongly advise) or £9 on the door but check before setting off as this is an expected sell-out. The box office number is 01462-672003. There is ample free parking both at the venue and all around and the Plinston Hall is located in Letchworth, Herts. That's a 30 min train ride from Kings Cross or by car down the A1(M), exit Junction 9 and the venue is just 2 mins away, 30 mins from Junction 13, M1. The average attendance throughout the year has been 375 and all are welcome to experience one of the most talked about venues in the South.
