A short tour of the UK by The Velvelettes has been announced by promoters PGE. The legendary Motown group famous for hit singles such as 'Needle In A Haystack', 'He Was Really Saying Something', 'These Things Will Keep Me Loving You' and many more, will be embarking on a four night tour in November 2006. Playing gigs in Bedford, Northampton, Peterborough&Kettering.
Each venue as well as seeing The Velvelettes live on stage with a full backing band, will also see a selection of top local DJ's playing classic Motown and Northern Soul. On all dates the doors open 8pm - 2am.
The dates are;
Friday 10 Nov - Park Inn Hotel, Bedford
Saturday 11 Nov - Park Inn, Northampton
Friday 17 Nov - The Cressett, Peterborough
Saturday 18 Nov - Wicksteed Park, Kettering
Advance tickets on all dates are £15, except at Peterborough where they are priced £13.
