The Viaduct Soul Club started in May 1995, having out grown a previous venue - Newton Cricket Club. The Viaduct is not about ego-tripping DJs - but about genuine soul fans who love their music and try to relay their enjoyment by giving everyone a good time through the music they play.

The Clubs music policy is strictly no politics or musical divides. The music played is 100% across the board from The Twisted Wheel to Modern Sound 2002 releases - therefore, if its good and soulful you will find it here it at the Viaduct.

Whereas we are progressive in our policy, we will never forget our roots and you will continue to hear the classic northern sounds you love although at the same time lend an ear to some of the newer sounds being played currently at soul nights and nighters throughout the UK - indeed the world!

Each month we try to use two guest DJs who compliment each other along with a variety of theme nights during the year such as: Capital Soul Club and the East Anglian Soul Club. These are just two such events where the Viaduct has led the way in the North West at introducing newer sounds.

We hope you will join us soon for an evening of soul spectacular, dancing, cavorting and generally having a great time.

The Viaduct Soul Club Earle Street, Earlestown, Newton-le-Willows, Near Warrington, Cheshire. Tel: 07930 240732.
