Yep we've made it to our 10th anniversary at Something Different rhythm and soul club and to celebrate this achievement the  STAFFSOULSPINNERS would like to invite you to our alldayer,I'm a bit late advertising this event but I had to wait for confirmation from the venue so please accept my apologies.Anyway we've got a fantastic line up of COLLECTORS/ENTHUSIASTS with their very own collection of vinyl to entertain us throughout the do,our resident DJ ROGER BANKS will be in attendance with his record shop,also spinning a few discs.Our special guest DJ for this special occasion is JOHN MANSHIP,well known all over the world as the rare soul man,John will be playing rare,underplayed,CLEETHORPES classics,RITZ classics as John DJd at these legendary clubs as well as other venues through the 70s/80s.So if ya not duin anything Shirebrook staff sports and social club is the place to be,if ya cant make it have a great Christmas and happy new year from all at Something Different rhythm and soul club.

🔈IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN! IT IS ON!! Tis’ the season to be soulful! Following our hugely successful previous sessions this year we’re pleased to say The Viva Soul Club is back again behind the turntables for one more time before the end of 2024. On Saturday 14th December, it’s our special Christmas Party at our favourite bar in Brighton, The Round George’s. It will certainly be another real nice social all-dayer & a chance to hear some wonderful records through a seriously good soundsystem. Easing you in through the afternoon, we’ll have you on your feet by the early evening! Underplayed soulful music from around the world. Hidden gems, choice classics, rare bits, bargain-bin digs & overlooked b-sides beside the seaside. Myself & Paul are delighted to be joined by two very special guests, both top drawer selector/collectors. Greg Austin, the host of the brilliant Bag Of Soul Parties here in Brighton, along with regular spinner for Mr. Bongo records, Gary Johnson. This event is FREE ENTRY and kicks off at 3pm in the afternoon until closing! This party looks set to be our best one yet so arriving early is highly recommended to ensure entry. Always a lovely friendly atmosphere where the drink will be flowing & great food is served all day! Deck The Halls and make it Disco! We do hope you can join us!! ❤️🎵❤️
