Dab of Soul by the Seaside"
November 8th-10th 2024
We are delighted to announce that as from Wednesday 12th June we will be accepting bookings for "Dab of Soul by the seaside 2024".
The event will again be held at the County Hotel situated on the sea front in beautiful Llandudno, North Wales. Main room DJs confirmed for the event are Matt Fox, Lars Bulnheim, Steve Plumb and Brian Pinches.
The costs for the weekend are as follows:
Single room: £50.00 per person per night (£100.00 for the weekend)
Double/Twin room: £50.00 per person per night (£200.00 for the weekend)
Weekend Pass: £40.00 per person
Total: £140.00 per person for the whole weekend
All room costs include breakfast.
The event will run from 1.00pm on Friday 8th November until 5.00pm on the Sunday (10th) afternoon. The music will run until 2.00am on the Friday and Saturday night.
Considering the success of our previous events we expect demand to be very high and therefore in order to give everyone a fair chance there are a very specific set of instructions that must be followed in order to book for this event.
Booking opens for hotel with weekend passes at 6.00pm on Wednesday 12th June.
Simply send an email to adabofsoul@btinternet.com stating the following:
What type of room (Single, Double, Twin) and how many weekend passes you would like.
Name of all people attending.
How many nights you are booking for (Extra nights can be booked now)
How you would like to pay - Bank transfer or cheque.
If you have special room requirements because of medical needs.
You will receive an email back confirming your booking with a total cost.
In the event that your desired accommodation is not available you will also receive email notification.
Any emails received before 6.00pm will not be included.
Payment this year will be by Bank Transfer/ Cheque only. The account details are: Name; C.Anderton, Sort Code: 20-26-22. Account Number: 53892204.
If you choose to pay by cheque all payments must be received by Saturday 22nd June unless otherwise arranged.

There is no option to pay by PayPal this year.
Booking will be done on a strictly first come first served basis. All booking emails will be answered in order.
Once the hotel has sold out notification will be posted in the Dab of Soul facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/175475195837958/
Weekend only passes priced at £40.00 will be on sale once the hotel is sold out.
You can stay at the hotel on the Thursday or Sunday night for the same reduced rate.Please include this in your booking email and reflect the extra nights in your payment
If you make a booking and are then unable to attend the event you are responsible for selling your own booking although we would help by advertising it on the FaceBook page etc. No refunds will be given.
There are no "One night" passes available.
Daytime "Collectors spots" will be confirmed nearer to the event.
I know this set of instructions may seem a little anal but we just want to make booking quick and easy for everyone. Demand will be high, my advice would be to sit by your computer and send the email at exactly 6 O`clock!! Obviously booking is still a few of weeks away so if you have any questions or issues in the meantime please don`t hesitate to ask.

Soul @ The Final Whistle: the small club with a huge heart.
An afternoon of outstanding soul music from most genres including Northern Soul, Modern and 7Ts, Old Club Soul, Motown, R&B and Funk. 
The club is an intimate, friendly place. Five or six different DJ's each playing their favourite tunes, giving the afternoon an interesting range. 
Drop £3.00 in the glass on the bar and the dance floor is inviting you. You have until 8 o'clock when the tunes fad away.
Ample car parking; hot food available later in the afternoon.

A regular Sunday chill out at the Acacia Center, Annesley Woodhouse this is a great afternoon. We have an incredible wooden Dancefloor unbelievably cheap prices at the bar and the ladies behind the bar can do food as well. We play incredible music, Motown Northern Soul no politics or anything like that we are now doing this Sunday chill out in aid of cancer research, hopefully to raise funds to save peoples lives and help families that are stricken by this incredible horrible devastating illness. It’s not a sad afternoon. It’s a Sunday afternoon party with some friends so come down and support us. We ask for nothing. We do raffles bits and bobs and maybe a collection at the end  keep the faith. Love you all.
