This is a new  afternoon event, for all the oldies, but NORTHERN SOULIES.😋,  So bring down your snap for  your energy, rubbing oil for your back & of course your dancing shoes 🤩. We will be  Kicking off at 3pm, till 8pm The venue  will hold around  40 + people inside, with  an outside area holding more , there is a marquee outside for drinking & smoking.😋good  selection of beers,including some in cans at a good price. The venue i think was an old  cutlery works so a bit quirky 😘. The music will be played on 100% Vinyl, We wont be playing the top 500  playlist.ok.😛  So please come & join Martin & myself Dave G,  for a great afternoon of  soul Tunes. Now here is a fantastic Soul & Motown show!
Angelo Starr – younger brother to the late, great, Edwin Starr – takes lead vocals performing with the TEAM – formerly known as the Edwin Starr Band.
Expect a dynamic performance of a complete range of Northern Soul, Motown and US soul classics including all the fantastic Edwin Starr hits such as “Higher & Higher”, “25 Miles”, “Dancing In The Street”, “Stop Her On Sight”,” WAR”, “Eye To Eye Contact” and many more.
DJ Pete Sherriff is compère for the night, playing a mix of tracks and videos, old & new, then introducing the live music performances from 9pm with the consummate entertainer, Tom Beech on piano – followed by Angelo Starr & the Team!
Bars, Restaurant & Buffet Dining from 6pm.
