After a fantastic turnout for the first Northern Soul and Motown afternoon at The East Leigh Northern Soul Club in August we are now preparing for the next one on Sunday the 29th September from 2 till 8pm with doors opening at 1pm. Three resident DJs this time around with Dave Porter, Clive Kirkman “Charlie” and Bert Harrison. Two great guests in Vicky Derbyshire and Phil Jones. Wakefield Soul Club returns with another six hours of quality, across the board soul courtesy of residents Mike Eastwood, Chris Mallows and Shaun McPhail plus our special guest deejay, one of the best deejays on the soul scene,  Avril Kesteven. Doors open at two till eight, you won't be disappointed.
We have drinks promotions on selected drinks, a full, professional sound system and a great atmosphere. Street parking is free in Wakefield on Sundays. If coming by car simply put Smyth Street in your satnav. Parking is free on here and, also in the car park at the top on the right hand side. Don't use the left hand one, you have to pay. The car park is at the back of our venue. We are a three minute walk from Westgate station, ten minutes form Kirkgate station and five minutes from the bus station.

Come and enjoy some great soul music, all played from vintage vinyl, at Coopers in Guiseley on the last Sunday of every month between 4pm and 8pm.
Promotor and DJ Colin Beveridge along with support from Stephen Crawshaw will play the best of Soul, Northern and Motown.
