The next Sunday Northern Soul and Motown session at the Boat & Horses, Trent Road, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 1LP is on Sunday 6th March from 3 to 8pm. Admission £4 (just £2 before 4pm). Guest DJs the legendary Sam Moore along with Derby Soul's Helen Crowther-Dowey and Chris Pickstone from Peterborough. Sprung wooden dance floor and large free car park. Another brilliant afternoon with plenty of dancers last time. Let's try to make it even better this month at this fantastic venue.

Heanor Sunday afternoon sessions are a great way to enjoy a few hours of sublime music, a catch up with friends and a chilled drink. Our next session is on Sunday 3rd April 3 till 8pm - just £2 on the door.
We're proud of our music policy, it's all original vinyl -  we get DJs with superb collections of northern soul and ask them to dig a little bit deeper than usual and show us what they maybe don't play at the big venues - the little gems, the slow burners, the under-the-radar but oh so soulful sounds.
This month we have Glyn Sisson, Jeffrey James and Mark Ecka Hill bringing their boxes down to treat us to some great sounds.
Your host John Smith will be keeping the quality tunes coming as usual  and Simon Richard will be spinning some seriously good Motown from his collection of US demos.
So that's 5 knowledgeable and talented guys playing just for you!

As Langtry's is currently unavailable, we have secured another venue - THE COSEY CLUB, 1 FIELDS ROAD, HASLINGTON, CREWE, CW1 5ST
Large car park at rear, well priced bar, ample seating, good dance floor and low lighting. 
Only 1.8 miles from Crewe station. 
We believe that this venue will be brilliant for a cracking SUNDAY SOUL SESSION. Hopefully you can join us and continue to show your support to The Box Soul Club on Sunday 3rd April.
