The Southport Coaster proudly presents the next exciting episode of "The Blue Cat, Rhythm and Soul Club" on Sunday, 10th August. Doors will swing open upstairs at 3:00 p.m., and trust me, once you step in, you're in for a treat. For just £3.00, you can grab your wristband and enjoy seven hours of the finest gritty Rhythm and Blues, British Beat, through to Sensational Soul. What's not to love?
This month is extra special because we're featuring not one, but three amazing guest DJs! Yes, you read that right—three! Join us in welcoming Debbie Thornhill from "Blackburn's Oldies," Steve Longworth from "Twistin'scool", and not forgetting the legend Mike Warburton of MG Blues. Our resident DJ team, including DJ Joe Tucker, will also be on hand to keep the music flowing, ensuring you won't want to miss a moment.
But wait—there's even more! Calling all record enthusiasts, our brand-new "Record Bar" is here for you! Record sellers are invited to bring their sales boxes, creating a perfect chance to browse through their collection of vinyl. You might unearth that long-sought 7-inch single or uncover a hidden gem for your collection.

As our Soul Brew DJ Marc Silverside is away on holiday this month, Steve Crawshaw (Cross Keys, Knaresborough) has kindly agreed to step in to take Marc's place to join Steve Yendley on the Soul Brew decks. You can expect plenty of Motown, Northern, R&B and club classics all on vintage vinyl, so make sure to bring your dancing shoes!
