Relating to Barrys' post about Dave Evison........I used to, just about, tune into Signal radio up here in the borugh iof Warrington. I was lucky enough to have a top 5(or was it three) played on the show. But i remember him coming up with a quiz, which was a bit of fun more than anything.....Northern Soul relating to transport.

I came up with Edwin Starr(ship enterprise) and A whole lot of shakin in my, (robin reliant).

remember my top 5 being played too, cant remember themexcept one was the HIgh Keys.

Also had my wigan top 20 readout in fullon Searlings Cellar Full of Soul on Jazz FM (not many were) with him saying it was the best wigan top 20 he'd ever seen (most were his tunes this may have had summat to do with it and lots that no-one else had mentioned in their lists)
