Found this 45 on the cheap a couple weeks ago and now it's for sale or trade. I'm now taking offers on a G to G+ copy of Eugene Smiley's Yes, It's You 45 on K-City records. I'm sure many of you know that clean copies of this modern soul monster still sell for close to $1000. Unfortunately, my copy is beat up. Though the labels are decent, the vinyl has numerous surface scuffs and three deeper cuts which can be felt on the Yes, It's You side. The other side, We're Lovers Day and Night, visually grades better but plays about the same since it's not as loud of a track.
Yes, It's You: visually grades G, plays as G+ or maybe a little bit better
We're Lovers Day and Night: visually grades G+, plays G+
As evident in the audio, this 45 doesn't skip and, since it's such a loud tune, it plays much better than the grade. Offers $150 and up are welcome so send me a PM if you're interested. Of course, I'm always interested in trading so please feel free to offer up anything you'll see on my want-list below. As always, thanks for your time.
