If anybody needed reminding that soul music was alive and well then have a listen to the new Plan B album The Defamation of Strickland Banks, what a revelation.

If you've been put off in the past by his more rap style tunes then just hear I Know a Song, Prayin' or Free, the voice of an angel.

I know he's been mentioned on here before but mostly for the moves in the video for Stay Too Long.

You won't be disappointed.

What with this and the new Eli Paperboy Reed album coming out Summer seems to be looking up already.
