Big Jim Slade

Liz Lands - Midnight Johnny / Keep Me: $75

VG++, very nice copy on the original purple Gordy label. Just short of NM- w/a drill hole too.

Debbie Deb - When I Hear Music / Instrumental: $25

VG+ copy of a crazy weird Miami electro synth club track from 1984 on Jam Packed records. Instrumental is fresh for fellow crazy asses.

Betty LaVette - Let Me Down Easy: $18

VG copy with lots of non feelable surface scuffs. Plays with moderate noise and is priced accordingly

North South East West - I'm Not Like the Others: $35

VG++ with a few marks. Priced to move as this is a nice copy!

Mandrill - Too Late / Holiday: $40

VG++ with a few marks but nothing major at all. Plays well.

Danny White - the Twitch: $25

NM- stock copy, I've played this 3 times or less and purchased it as a stock copy

The Passions - I Can See My Way Through: $25

VG++ with just a few marks and plays almost perfectly

Mike Finnigan & the Serfs - Bread & Water: $20

VG, plays VG+ but has just enough surface scuffing to merit the VG grade

Debbie Taylor - Never Gonna Let Him Know / Let's Prove Them Wrong: $16

VG++ with just a few surface scuffs, plays almost perfectly

Zapata - Viva La Raza / pt. 2: $25

VG++ promo vinyl copy that plays almost perfectly and grades just short of NM-

The Sisters & Brothers - the Jed Clampett pt. 1 / pt. 2: $17

VG vinyl copy that plays well despite lots of non feelable surface scuffs

Etta James & Sugar Pie DeSanto - In the Basement pt. 1 / pt. 2: $25

Borderline VG to VG+ copy but easily plays VG+ as it's a thick vinyl pressing. Labels are VG+

Darrell Banks - Somebody (Somewhere) Needs You: $15

VG+ copy with a few marks but nothing visually or audibly invasive

Fred Hughes - Baby Boy (Brunswick): $15

VG vinyl copy w/just enough scuffs to merit the VG grade despite a VG+ play grade

Leroy Hutson - All Because of You: $22

VG++, very nice vinyl copy. I'd never sell it if I didn't have the LP

Lee Dorsey - Funky Four Corners: $25 (styrene pressing)

VG+ copy with some low level surface scuffs and smearing on the labels which is common for styrene pressings on the AMY label. 45 plays well

Lee Dorsey - Everything I Do Gonna Be Funky: $10

VG++ copy that plays quite well . Has a small sticker on the flip and a drill hole.

Tyrone Ashley - I Want My Baby Back: $15

VG vinyl pressing with non-feelable surface scuffs on both sides. Plays fine if you're not a stickler.

Jean Wells - With My Love and What You've Got / Ease Away a Little Bit At a Time: $15

VG++ copy that plays quite well. Cheaper than the other pressing of 'With My Love...' due to the different flip.

Tani Jones - Meet Me Halfway / Stormy: $15

Solid VG- if there is such a thing. Lots of non feelable marks and low level (but still non too invasive) noise

The Deep Heat - Precious Woman: $15

VG copy due to water damage on the label. The record plays VG+. I've been told this is the same group that turned Steely Dan's 'Do It Again' into a deep funk classic.

Leon Haywood - Consider the Source (20th Century pressing): $10

VG+ copy of 'Consider the Source' which is different (but still good) than the more desirable Capitol issue from years before.
