Hi everybody, here is my new R&B sales list, all the records are in ex or mint- condition unless stated, check out the soundclips!
I'm also open to record trades if you send me your list of stuff!
PM me if interested
Thanks,
Brian
P.s. I'm sorry I can take Paypal only, but I won't ask any fees!
King Solomon - Separation (Mader D) 70 £
Letting go my spare copy of this, as I totally love the record! Superb uptempo jazzy R&B that seems to be getting new spins from the mod djs around Europe! Please note that you should stay away from the Magnum issue cause it's a bluesy slow number.
Joanie Sommers - Why don't you do right (Warner Bros) 45 £
If you don't know this version you'll be surprised! What a belter!
I'm always interested in this kind of late r&b meets early funk sound, the "Lovely way to go" deserves spins + on the flip there's a nice funk number called "Scooby doo"!
Bo Diddley - Greatest lover in the world (Checker) 18 £
Nice, lesser known number from the legend! Compiled on "Music to get smart by" vol.1
Aretha Franklin - Tighten up your tie.. (Columbia) 35 £
Semiknown from the soul queen! What a lovely mod soul record is this!
Woody Herman - The sidewinder (Columbia white promo) 30 £
One of the best jazz dancers out there, and a classic! The only way to get it on 45 behind the UK issue is this white U.S. promo that was pressed for radios only!
Ted Taylor - Miss you so (Ronn) 20 £
He had "the voice" and cut a finger-poppin' version of the song! nuff said!
