Has anyone heard of Ricky Fante. Apparently his debut album 'Rewind' is inspired by "1960s Stax and Motown Idols". I'm not sure if it's been released in the UK yet.

I'm always on the look out for new artists / albums that have been influenced by the greats - don't come around that often for me though - i think that last ones that blew me away were Maysa's 'Out of the Blue' and Raphael Saadiq's debut solo album.
