Syl Johnson - I resign - Twinight 107 (This is a fine Xover piece from the instantly recognisable Syl.Recorded in Chicago Feb - Apr 1968, ostensibly as a remake of a 1961 Federal side. Syl forgot the chord progression so ended up with a completely new song! Hard to locate and probably his rarest on the label) In Refosoul
Arthur Conley - Take a step in my direction - UK Atlantic (UK only 45, version of Aesop's Fables on Atco, recorded in 69 but not issued until the 7ts, short (1m 55s) but sweet)
