...I dug these dupes out while looking for my spare copy of Velvet Hammer this morning (and which I still haven't found yet..).
Some I've listed before, some I haven't. Anyway, they're all visually graded and (I hope) fairly priced.
PayPal as a gift preferred, please,
P & P £1.25 for the first record and add 25p per 45 thereafter.
PM to reserve, and for PayPal address...
...Here goes!
SAM MOULTRIE - I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU (SOUTHBOUND) - £25.00 (M - ex store stock, unplayed)
JO ARMSTEAD - GOT MY TASTE OF THE HONEY (PREACHER ROSE) - £20.00 SOLD
GATEWAY - CAN'T ACCEPT THE FACT (COLUMBIA DEMO) - £20.00 (EX++ - would be M- but for a tiny pressing bubble at the end of the stereo side that caused on click on the very last rotation before the deadwax)
THE PRESIDENTS - IT'S ALL OVER NOW (SUSSEX) - £20.00 (EX++, closer to M- in fact, but I can't be arsed to give it a wipe. Drill hole at centre bottom of label)
BOBBY WOMACK - HOW COULD YOU BREAK MY HEART (UK ARISTA) - £20.00 (M-)
RAMSEY LEWIS - PARTY TIME (CADET) £15.00 (EX++ This, believe it or not, is the original version of Dave & Ansel Collins' 'Double Barrell'!!!!)
THE UNDISPUTED TRUTH - THE GIRL'S ALRIGHT WITH ME (GORDY) - £8.00 (EX, great verstion of Temptations' all time killer).
THE MIGHTY RYEDERS - THE MIGHTY RYEDERS (SUN GLO) - £10.00 SOLD
SCREAMIN' JAY HAWKINS - JUST DON'T CARE/I HEAR VOICES (UK SUE) £30.00 (EX++, top drawer new breed R&B from Jay with bonkers rubber room waltz on flip. Lovely copy, 'A' stamp on 'Voices' side)
AL WILSON - NOW I KNOW WHAT LOVE IS (SOUL CITY) £10.00 (EX++, nice clean vinyl copy ''Nashville Matrix' stam pin deadwax. 2/19 witten on each side in biro)
PHILLIP JAMES - WIDE AWAKE IN A DREAM (Ja, SOUL) £35.00 SOLD
WILLIE WILLIAMS - HAVE YOU EVER BEEN PLAYED FOR A FOOL (ABC DEMO) £35.00 (EX to EX+, labels a bit grubby - shelf wear mostly - but vinyl very nice)
VARIOUS ARTISTS - STATESIDE A GO GO EP (UK STATESIDE DEMO) - £15.00 (M, unplayed copy of pic sleeve EMI promo featuring Chuck Wood 'Seven Days Too Long', Truman Thomas '25 Miles, Bob Dorough 'I Got Six' and Baby Washington 'I Can't Wait Until I See My Baby's Face'. Pic sleeve immaculate, too) SOLD
EDDIE JEFFERSON - SOME OTHER TIME (UK STATESIDE DEMO) £30.00 (EX to EX+, possibly even better with the application of some warm water and Fairy Liquid)
JIMMY HOLIDAY & CLYDIE KING - READY WILLING AND ABLE (UK LIBERTY 'SOUL SUPPLY') £15.00 (VG= and plays much better!)
HOMER BANKS - HOOKED BY LOVE (UK LIBERTY 'SOUL SUPPLY) £30.00 (EX++ and would be M- but for a couple of small 'spindle marks' round the centre hole)
JAMES BROWN - COLD SWEAT (UK PYE INTERNATIONAL) £15.00 (M-, and quite possibly M as it came straight off a shop's shelf and it's still in its original sleeve. The cleanest copy of Funk's greatest ever tune that you could wish to own!)
DYKE AND THE BLAZERS - FUNKY BROADWAY (UK PYE INTERNATIONAL) £15.00 (EX++, one of the harder to find 'pink' Pye Internationals)
If I sell I few of these I'll post a few more up later in the week!
