Hi Folks. Can somebody put me out of my misery and tell me if the US 7" stock copy of Esther Phillips "home is where the hatred is" (kudu: KU-904) is a mono or stereo recording?

That picture's the same as my copy Grant. I noticed that the UK issues state that it's stereo but not the stateside ones. The reason I'm asking is because my (VG++)US copy plays with a lot of distortion in stereo and perfectly in mono, so I'm assuming that it's a mono cut.
