Full on storming Northern Soul classic. Original 1st press stock copy.
Strong VG+ that plays superb with clean and tidy labels too. Rare to find a clean example now. Labels usually trashed with heavy wear / DH / WOL etc.
ANN SEXTON - I STILL LOVE YOU / COME ON HOME (I KNOW I DID YOU WRONG) (SEVENTY SEVEN) VG+ £20
Quality crossover 2 Sider from the brilliant Miss Sexton. Looks a minty copy but has some slight surface noise in quite parts hence the VG+ grading.
LITTLE CHARLES & THE SIDEWINDERS - TALKIN ABOUT YOU, BABE (DECCA - PROMO) M- £150
Awesome vocals. Awesome tune. What a killer track this is and and spanking minty one at that. Currently 200 quid on lists !!
MARVIN SMITH - HAVE MORE TIME (BRUNSWICK) M- £25
Another all time Northern classic. Quality Chicago stuff from the brilliant Mr. Smith courtesy of Barrett Strong, Carl Davis, Sonny Saunders and Gerald Sims behind the scenes. You can't go wrong really with credits like this. Very nice Mint- example too with slightest of storage wear to label.
SUE SAND RECIPE - I DON'T WANNA LOSE (SWAR) E £3
Rare up-tempo boogie from 1979. Nice clean copy that don't turn up too often. Bargain price too!
TAVARES - IT ONLY TAKES A MINUTE GIRL (CAPITOL) M- £4
Classic 70's dancer from Tavares and a biggie if I remember rightly at Wellingborough a few years back! Mint- stock copy.
GEORGE E. SMITH - DON'T FIND ME GUILTY (CONCLAVE) E £25
Killer mid-tempo crossover with absolutely stunning vocals. Top tune and a very nice clean copy.
JERSEY RED - SHINE ON HARVEST MOON (RED BIRD) E+ £30
Rare Red Bird early R&B release in superb nick. Rarely turns up with both vinyl and labels this clean. D/H and a return stamp on label but other than that a lovely copy.
CHET "POISON" IVEY & HIS FABULOUS AVENGERS (BEE CEE) E+ £200
Tough tough R&B rariety. Great stuff if you like a touch of the raw R&B style and in near perfect condition. A tune that simply never turns up!
HERMAN GRIMES - (I'LL MAKE YOU) SMILE AGAIN (BOOT HEEL) M- £20
Blue eyed R&B style dancer on it's original 1st issue. Later released on Musicland U.S.A. Lovely minty copy with the slightest of storage wear to label.
