I grade the record first then the sleeve, and I use the following grading system: NM, VG++, VG+, VG, G, F

Skull Snaps "Same" (GSF) NM/VG++ £200 Superb copy of this rare, desirable album. Light sleeve wear, but overall a strong EX sleeve which is close to EX+. Monster soul tunes like "My Hang Up Is You", "Didn't I Do It To You" and perhaps my favorite "I'm Falling Out Of Love", but it also contains one of the most sampled funk track "It's A New Day". A really solid album.

Donna McGhee "Make It Last Forever" (Red Greg) NM/NM £190 Superb copy of this rare soul/disco album. Still in shrink.

James Mason "Rhythm of Life" (Chiaroscuro) NM/NM £195 Extremely rare LP in superb condition. Small cut corner and a very lightly bumped corner otherwise a superb sleeve.

Larry Davis "Satisfaction Guaranteed" (Perception) Strong VG++/VG+ £60 This one seems to turn up for sale very seldom. Contains a monster x-over tune in the title track. Small label damage on one side. Please check the picture below.

Estiban "L.A. Walk" (EL) NM/NM £30 Rare Canadian soul album.

J.W. McGee "Over & Over" (Scorpio) NM/VG++ £30 Rare Canadian soul album.

Aubrey Mann "Feeling Good" (Scorpio) NM/NM £15 Canadian soul album including a nice version of "Ain't No Stoppin Us Now".

Reginald Haynes "On Wings of Love" (Escort) NM/NM £20 Rare modern soul.

J.R. Bailey "Just Me 'N You" (Mam) VG++/NM £90 Rare, essential 70s soul album. A solid album from start to end. Cover is still in shrink, but I suspect that it is a reseal because the sleeve has a bit of wear on the seams, but it is very, very little. Perhaps it was opened back in the day and then resealed because the shrink itself appears to be old, and the cover really is in superb shape. The disc has two lightly audible marks, but it is overall a clean a nice sounding copy.

Annebelle "A Taste of Soul" (Alshire) VG+/VG++ £15 Basically a clean copy, but there is a mark on one song which clicks; luckily, not on the best song. Please write me for more information.

Full Fource "A Long Way Together" (Castle) NM/VG++ £40 Rare group soul from 1980. Small split on the upper seam; otherwise a nice a sleeve. Please click the link below to an up-close picture of the damaged seam.

Eddie Kendricks "People...Hold On" (Tamla) VG+/NM £25 His best and most in demand LP, produced by Frank Wilson and includes "Date With the Rain". Some light marks that can't be heard. The sound is really nice and clean, and I'd say that it's close to EX, and sound wise it's EX+. Nice sleeve still in shrink.

Mitty Collier "I Am Love" (Now Sound) NM/VG++ £30 Rare soul album.

Saundra Hewitt "Saundra" (Disco Mate) NM/NM £25 Rare soul/jazz album only released on Japan.

Larry T. & the Family "I'm Moving On" (Let) NM/NM £200 Superb copy.

Barbara Howard "On the Rise" (SR Productions) VG++/NM £165 Mega rare Ohio soul album. Light background noise which I think is due to the pressing since the vinyl looks M-. I have recorded a bit of the LP so please check the second link below to hear the sound quality. There is also a small label flaw, so please also check the first link to a picture of the label.

The Voices of East Harlem "Same" (Just Sunshine) NM/VG++ £35 Great album including "Cashing In" and more. Bump in the upper right corner; otherwise a nice, clean sleeve.

The Modulations "It's Rough Out Here" (Buddah) VG++/NM £30 Brilliant 70s group soul. Great album.

The Soul Generation "Beyond Body and Soul" (Ebony Sounds) NM/VG++ £35

Norman Feels "Where Or When" (Just Sunshine) NM/VG+ £30 Quality 70s soul album.

The Ebonys "Same" (Philadelphia International) NM/VG++ £30 Sticker on the front cover under the shrink wrap. I don't think this is the original shrink; I would guess that I was wrapped on years later, but the sleeve is still in great shape. And it's definitely the original pressing which comes with the original company inner sleeve!
