3. THE DRIFTERS "Be my lady/ A Rose by any other man" (Atlantic)
Such a classy crossover tune and so underrated. One of the best records on the list! Incl. company sleeve. Not so easy to find considering the label...

Nice 2stepper, Modern soul with great horns and a beautiful voice. Including company sleeve!

Such a great doublesider and overlooked record! Pretty... is an uptempo northern cut with such a catchy chorus and great horns/crispy drums. The flip is an uptempo cover version of this well known tune with killer drums and nice flute break, recommended! Grab it now

Another doublesider from the ladies who already brought us "If this ain't really love"! A side is a cover from Bobby Womack's modern discoish tune with great vocals. Flip is also very danceable and in the same vain

Such a great record from 1988!! Killer funky drums, sharp horns, quality vocals, pure class! Incl. picture sleeve
8. VICTOR JOHNSON - "When you say you're mine/ After dark in the ghetto" (Love)
Such a classy rare record, both sides for the more open minded dj's. Strings&Horns arranged by the great Richard Evans. Atmospheric soul with a killer orchestration and a chorus to die for on the A side and a jazzy/bluesy moody flip. Still very unknown, recommended by 16 funky corners and seen for 100 Euro on sales lists.
9. Gloria Lynn "If you don't get it yourself" (Canyon)
Nice Sister funk with great drums on this higly collectable label. Record itself looks bad but plays Vg with some pops/crackles but still very enjoyable!

Boss uptempo deep funk, perfectly produced! Fat drums, brownish vocals, quality cheapo!
