Doug Shorts grew up in Cabrini Green projects, has been singing in soul groups since the late 60s, worked in Jerry Butler's writers workshop as a teen, and was a member of The Visitors, Shades of Brown, James Clark Band, and later had his own outfit, Masterplan Inc, who released 1 killer modern soul single in 1980, and another solo single in 1985. The new tracks here are more of an adventurous sound for him, and we're excited to share it.
