THE FELLOWS - LET'S MAKE IT LAST / SHE'S ALWAYS THERE - SOLID HIT 110
This 45 looks like it been thrown down the Davison Freeway but I have to say apart from a few tiny clicks on the intro on the 'make it last' side, the 45 plays great.
The fidelity of the recording and the strength of the vinyl are amazing. Loud and clear. Scratch a CD and you can forget it, not with this baby, kick its arse and it still sings. Go on make an offer, I'll give you your money back if not satisfied - and you will be! Tough stuff this Detroit plastic.
This is turning out to be much harder to find than previously thought. A recent mint copy has just sold for £400. This Solid Hit release isn't that well known due to its obscurity. Both sides are great George Clinton productions and if these ain't the Parliaments I'll eat my Golden World demo's.
