The Platters Founder Herb Reed Dies At 83

Herb Reed, the last surviving, and founder, member of The Platters has died at the age of 83 in Boston.

Following the replacement of all the other original band members over the years, Herb Reed was the only singer to appear on every Platters record.

It seems it's a sad day for our beloved music today, with the news that Lou Pride also passed away.

RIP Herb & Lou.
