5. Quiet As It's Kept - LEE ANDREW & THE HEARTS (white RCA demo).......VG++.......could be an ear-catcher if played out; recommended if you're fond of such as "Our Love will Grow" by The Showmen with its Northern/Latin feel..........£35

6. Watch Yourself / Just Can't Leave You - TONY HESTOR (Karate)......two fabulous Detroit Northern Soul dancers.........VG++..........£200

7. The Panic Is On - ROY HAMILTON (M-G-M)........Mint-.........big Northern Soul Beat Ballad........£100

8. Just One More Chance - THE PATRICK BRADLEY (pink Decca demo)......mysterious yet fantastic floor-filler (why THE Patrick Bradley?).........Mint-.........£185

9. Think Before You Stop - THE NOTATIONS (UK Curtom).....VG++.......1976 Modern Room spin screaming out for weekly airings; would swiftly become a dance favourite if so...........£15 (sure go up in price)

10. (Hey You) Set My Soul On Fire - MARY WELLS (UK red Atlantic).......VG++.......1967 release amazingly over-looked by many DJ's but certainly has that Northern Soul power needed by keen dancers...........£12

11. Someday We're Gonna Love Again - BARBARA LEWIS (Atlantic)....Dave Evison, Mr M's, let's hear it again.......£15

12. It's Unbelievable (How You Control My Soul) - JEANNIE & THE DARLINGS (Volt).....VG++.........strong Stax beat Northern.......£10

13. I'm Gonna Run Away From You - TAMI LYNN (Contempo-Raries) re-issue.......VG++.......£8

14. Sugar Pie Honey - LOVE AND BROTHERHOOD (Chess demo).......VG++.....backing track is same as "Time's A Wasting" by The Fuller Brothers.......£15

15. That Ain't Right - J.J. JACKSON (Warner Brothers)......recommended if slightly unknown to some ears. This strong straight-shooter from the Loma stable won't sound bad booming out of the big club speakers!..........£10
