After reading the "Playlists - or lack of them" thread, I've decided to post my playlist from The Crescent Soul Club in York on 9th June 2012.
I played the 9-10pm spot, was followed by Harry Crosby, and Stuart & Neil (the Soul Twins) ex Mr M's.
The Crescent is a well attended, out and out Oldies night, has a great atmosphere, and is all the better for knowing what its punters want, giving them exactly that, not pretending to be something it's not, and not getting involved in 'Soul Politics' of any kind!
I did find myself putting some records back in my box, and pulling out some old youth club favourites instead, but everyone was up for that on the night, and the dancefloor stayed full!
So, in a rough sort of order, and as many as I can remember while at work a week later........
