As an expat now living in east texas (beaumont to be exact), i was playing a northern soul set when some guy approached me saying that he was charles sheffields son in law, as i was playing the record at the time. So i took his card and carried on playing. Would this site be interested in an interview as he now lives locally to me.
I was unaware that this area ever produced soul as zydeco was the big thing in those days.
