Hope all is well. Below is a copy of a message I just sent to the seller (ebay scammer) of my record from the seventies. I don't think he can assist me if you purchase my record. Is there anything you can do such as retract your bid so that nobody buys it? It's really not worth anything to anyone except some special memories to me and my family. If you're in a generous mood today, I have an ENORMOUS favor to ask. Back in the 70s, I wrote and recored -- I Wish I Could Tell You -- and -- Dreams -- which you know was recorded on Afton Records by my group, The Sound Carnival. In recent years, through moving, I've lost my only copy. In fact, I don't think anyone in the group has a copy any longer. I'm not really able to afford the money to re-purchase my own record and I was wondering if you could be generous and just send it to me here in Los Angeles, CA.

I've ask the guy to get in touch with me, so I can get some more details. If anybody have a sound bite I can send to the guy, he'll at least have something of his work..

Sure I thought it may be a scam, only problem is I didn't win the record, so had no record to send, I wouldn't have sent a record any way, I'm not stupid. I have emailed the guy I'll see if I get a reply, just wanted a sound bite so if genuine the I could forward it to him.
