Watch out for the UK release of a Jackie Ross album called Take The Weight Off Me (Grapevine GVCD 3030)

The official release date is March 27th but advance copies should be available on Friday, March 25th, when Jackie Ross will be performing live with Syl Johnson at The Frobisher in Wakefield. Both acts will be backed by Snake Davis & The Suspicions.

The event is a tribute to Chicago soul artist Johnny Moore who died last year. Promoter Dave Box celebrates his 60th birthday on the same day.
