McKinley Mitchell - I think you're that girl (One-Derful). M- £250
By far the rarest record in this list and I believe the first copy offered in a long time (correct me if I'm wrong). I think Matt Weingarden aka Finewine offered the first copy some years ago, and since then only 1-2 copies surfaced, at least to my knowledge.
The tune is an extremely catchy uptempo R&B number, that would appeal to most R&B collectors and DJs out there, I think.
Kent and the Candidates - I gotta feelin' (Leisa) M- £100
Indemand top popcorn / R&B tune.
Jimmy Brand - Don't you leave me this way (Prestige) VG++ £80
Extremely cool jazzy R&B on Prestige.
Billy Watkins - The Rooster Smash (Jay Ree) VG++ £80
Another genuinely rare tune, and again killer uptempo R&B.
Young Jesse - Lula Belle (Capitol) EX £60
No introduction needed.
The Sensational Five - It's hard out there (Sagport) VG £40
Once covered up as the Fabulous Four, great garage soul with potential (and nice lyrics, too). Some crackle at the beginning, then plays great.
Trades welcome, especially midtempo soul, R&B and boogaloo.
