I am sure this has been covered before but does anyone know anything about Cajun Hart?

I suspect that it was just a studio project . Not a real group. Just the one record. The writer, Doug Goodwin, was prolific and worked extensively in film and tv (The Pink Panther Show!!). Sid Feller, the arranger, famously worked with Ray Charles and then also worked in Hollywood from the mid 60s...The record itself is on Warner Bros...

So I suspect it was recorded in LA / Hollywood on spec. for some reason or another...Anyone know more?

There are at least 3 Cajun Hart 45s on WB

7285 No Easy Way Down / (The Killing of Sister) Elmira ........... Dave Rimmer has it listed as by Hamilton Streetcar for some reason.

7258 Got To Find A Way / Lover's Prayer

7325 Big City / The Whole World Is Watchin

Quite like "No Easy Way Down" which is no Na Allen but for me is still listenable

No Easy Way Down
