VICTOR JOHNSON — “When you say you’re mine/ After dark in the ghetto” (Love)
Such a classy rare record, both sides for the more open minded dj’s. Strings&Horns arranged by the great Richard Evans. Atmospheric soul with a killer orchestration and a chorus to die for on the A side and a jazzy/bluesy moody flip. Still very unknown, recommended by 16 funky corners and seen for 100 Euro on sales lists.
Beautiful rare Modern Soul mover with a tight groove. Other side ain't so shabby too!
M-, 100 Euro, NOW 70 EURO
